Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) is currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Business Systems Analyst. This position engages in sophisticated planning and analysis of customer and operational processes to improve operational efficiency. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Manages assigned IT projects, ensuring they adhere to budget, schedule, and project scope. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project proposals, including requirements gathering, process documentation, objectives, technologies, systems, timelines, budget, and staffing. Leads cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and deadlines. 
  • Provides daily oversight of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system, includes reviewing system performance reports and taking appropriate actions such as device inspection or replacements based on priority. Interacts with vendors, contractors, and OWASA staff to ensure the system's optimal performance.  
  • Provides training to OWASA users on the AMI system software, specifically the billing system interface, AMI meter data management system, customer portal, and accessing customer consumption data.  
  • Manages multiple department SharePoint sites, creates, and implements new automations through the Microsoft Power platform and provides ongoing enterprise tiers 1 and 2 support for customer information systems. 

 

Successful candidates should have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years’ experience in complex planning and analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Power platform. 
  • Understanding of AMI meter data management system.

  • Salary Range is $69,328 - $103,992
