The City of Bend Utility Department is seeking a highly qualified, top performing, results-oriented professional to serve as the leader for the Support Services Division. The person selected for this position (reporting to the Utility Director) must demonstrate highly developed executive leadership skills, public administration acumen and the ability to assist with leading a large and varied municipal utility organization.   Work focuses on department financial management, strategic planning and analysis, assessing the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of the organizational unit or organization as a whole, administration oversight, and interdepartmental business relationships.

The Utility Department Business Manager position directs the activities of the operational support teams that focus on budget analytics, procurement, customer service, communications, human resources, data services, and safety/risk.
