MCES operates and maintains the wastewater collection and treatment system for the Minneapolis-St. Paul seven-county metropolitan area, which includes approximately 600 miles of regional sanitary sewers and eight regional wastewater treatment plants. MCES treats an average of 250 million gallons of wastewater daily, providing cost-effective service to more than 2.6 million people in 109 customer communities. Will oversee, plan, and administer the maintenance and operations planning and scheduling programs for the Council's Environmental Services facilities. Responsibilities include providing leadership, management and technical support to the Assistant Managers (Planning & Scheduling). This position also provides analysis and recommendations for improvements through planning and scheduling to other area managers.
Full Salary Range: $92,331- $139,381 annually
Bachelor's degree or higher in a Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Management or Reliability Engineer field.
Seven (7) years of combined experience in work execution management in a heavy industrial equipment maintenance setting; including the planning and scheduling of maintenance work activities, creating preventive maintenance plans, managing operator routes and activities. Of the seven (7) years, you must have: Three (3) years of maintenance planning & scheduling using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system (creating work schedules with hours, materials & job scope by craft). AND Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible full-time supervisory experience.

- Experience with wastewater, potable water, and/or storm water collection and treatment equipment is preferred.
- Certification in certified Reliability Leader (CRL) from the Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP).
- Certification in certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) from the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP).
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
