Engineer or Associate Engineer

The Metropolitan Council’s Environmental Services Division (MCES) operates and maintains the wastewater collection and treatment system in the Twin Cities metropolitan region.  More information at https://metrocouncil.org/Wastewater-Water.aspx.

MCES has one (1) vacancy for either an Engineer or Associate Engineer (depending on qualifications) working in the Interceptor Engineering group located at our Regional Maintenance Facility in Eagan. A hybrid work arrangement is available after initially working on-site.

Associate Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering AND successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within six months of hire.  Must possess a valid driver's license.

Salary Range:  $66,747 - $100,755 annually

Engineer

Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering AND at least two (2) years of related engineering experience AND successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within six months of hire.  Must possess a valid driver's license. 

Salary Range:  $72,176 - $108,909 annually
