Director, Pumping Operations

DC Water has partnered with POLIHIRE in their search for a Director, Pumping Operations. This pivotal role is responsible for the strategic oversight, operational integrity, and regulatory compliance of all pumping systems. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage complex infrastructure assets, and drive performance through innovation, preventative maintenance, and interdepartmental coordination.

The ideal candidate will have ten (10) years of progressive experience in the management and/or operation of water delivery and wastewater collection systems, with five (5) years in a senior and/or executive management role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field is also required.
