The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning
agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential
services to our region: transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and
development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional
park systems.

protecting our environment! The Metropolitan Council’s Environmental
Services (ES) division operates and maintains the wastewater collection and
treatment system in the Twin Cities metro area.
This position will be responsible for facilities and
fleet management operations for ES. Will be responsible for the development and
implementation of maintenance, improvement and compliance programs related to
the continuous operation of ES treatment facilities, buildings, and grounds
located in Ramsey, Dakota, and Scott counties and a fleet comprised of 250+
ES-owned vehicles.
Minimum Requirements:
Any of the following combinations of education in
Building/Property Maintenance or related program AND years
of progressively responsible experience in fleet and/or facilities
management, budgeting, asset management, vehicle procurement and/or facilities
contract management PLUS three years in a supervisory/management position.
- Master's degree and 5
years of experience
- Bachelor's degree and 7
years of experience
- Associate's degree and 9
years of experience
- High school diploma/GED
and 11 years of experience
License: Valid driver's license with acceptable
driving record.
Salary Range: $108,555.20 - $176,196.80 Annually
